Coaching Staff

All power and authority over the North Mecklenburg High School Debate and Speech Team resides in the Head Coach as the activity sponsor appointed by the principal of North Mecklenburg H.S. The Head Coach may have assistant coaches who will have responsibility and authority over the team as he sees fit. The coaching staff’s responsibilities are to educate and train team members in the forensic arts and to provide personal guidance, advice, and behavioral supervision.

All team members will be assigned to a particular coach to whom they will be responsible for their competition preparation and who must sign off on their readiness to attend any tournament.
